- High mechanical strength
- Extremely high temperature resistance
- Excellent resistance to acids and oils
- Flame retardant
AT4003 is recognised by UL and conforms to BS EN 60454-3-8 Type 3
AT4003 is a flame retardant single-sided woven glass, cloth tape with a silicone adhesive used in electrical insulation of coils, insulation of square conductors in traction motors and generators and tensional strapping of coils and armature windings. Suitable for electrical insulation application, this tape offers extra performance against acids, oils and extremely high temperature (up to +180°C). AT4003 has high mechanical strength making it a very strong tape to support a weight. The tape meets the flame retardency requirements of UL510 and is recognised by UL. AT4003 also conforms to EN 60454-3-8 Type 3.
