COATING & CONVERTING OPERATORS

We are now recruiting for Operators to work at our Coating & Converting sites.

The main requirements of this role are:

  • To operate selected machinery safely
  • To consistently achieve production output targets
  • To have a full understanding of quality standards and waste minimization requirements
  • To highlight processing & quality issues to the Production Team Leaders
  • To complete all required departmental data recording on time

Essential Requirements:

  • Experienced in team-based production processes
  • Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Able to work safely at the required pace
  • Able to understand and record data through written and electronic means
  • Good communication skills
  • Good self-organisation skills
  • Able to identify and communicate risks (Service, Quality, Health & Safety and Financial)

Business Development Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven sales professional to join our sales team. This role will be key in developing and enhancing commercial presence of our portfolio to new business partners and successfully prospecting, selling and onboarding new clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

This role includes, but is not limited to:

  • To work closely with Marketing BDR to identify and qualify prospect customers.
  • Work with the Commercial Manager to agree target customers to approach, products to offer and all terms and conditions to offer.
  • To ensure that new customer pitches involve all the necessary Advance employees to maximise the chances of success.
  • To ensure companywide awareness of the new business development plans, target accounts and when first orders will be arriving.
  • Identify new customers and lead pitches to win customers.
  • To attend relevant trade exhibitions and networking events to identify leads.
  • To ensure that new customer expectations are understood and communicated to the business.
  • To negotiate terms and conditions and ensure that customers adhere to those terms.
  • To ensure a consistent pricing policy across market sectors and within the Customer Groups.
  • To grow sales of the target products as defined by the Business Strategy.
  • To report feedback on the performance of all products with any recommendations for improvements.

The Candidate: 

  • Experience in selling industrial consumables through distribution channels.
  • Up to date knowledge of the pressure sensitive adhesive tape market.
  • Proven track record with demonstrable new business wins.
  • Excellent communicator able to define customer needs and convey company objectives.
  • Excellent new business development skills.
  • Excellent negotiator and pitching skills.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Good organisational skill and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate and numerate.
  • Fluent English with other languages desirable.
