AT0085 Polythene Self Amalgamating Tape
AT85 is a strong, black non-adhesive, polythene, self-amalgamating tape, which can be applied easily, with an easily removed interleave.
Ideal for insulating terminations and joints between such materials as butyl rubber, PVC polyethylene, EPR and oil based rubbers of power cables rated up to 35 kV. It can also be used in applications where very high dielectric strength is required.
The tape can withstand a wide range of temperature from -35°C to +130°C and therefore can be used where sustained extreme low and high temperature exposure is expected.
AT85 was designed to offer a high and reliable performance in a wide range of adverse ambient conditions. It offers very good resistance to water, ozone, UV and to chemicals; including alkalis, hydraulic fluids and vegetable oils.
