Conforms to military specification MIL-T-47012, BS EN 60454 – Part 2 test method Relevant, ASTM D – 1000 test method In-house tests and to the flame retardant requirements of UL 510.
AT521 is a 40 micron aluminium foil coated with an electrically conductive solvent based acrylic adhesive designed to provide good shielding and conductivity through its removable silicone liner. The tape has been tested in accordance with ASTM D-1000 and with BS EN 60454 – Part 2 test methods. It has also been tested and meets military specification MIL – T – 47012. The tape construction is tested in-house and conforms to the flame retardant requirement part only of UL510 . AT521 is suitable for EMI / RFI and static shielding thanks to its excellent chemical, heat, acid and alkali resistance. It also offers extra performance and durability, even in extreme temperature conditions (from -20°C to +155°C). The foil tapes are easy to unwind, easy to use and are aesthetically pleasing. Important note: When using these tapes galvanic compatibility should be taken into account. Refer to the datasheet for more information on the tape.
