Our Community
As a family run business which employs many local people Advance has always sought to support its local community here in Leicester. Since Advance was established in 1964 we have held charitable events and sponsored local sports teams.
The Summer 2012 event was great fun as we had an insight into how the children’s minds work when it comes to tape making! View their creations in the short video. In recent years we have teamed up with Dean the ArtWizard, a Leicester based community artist, to run animation days with local schools which have been thoroughly enjoyed by both the schools and Advance employees alike. LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice, is the company’s nominated charity. Each year events are held to raise money for LOROS and we also encourage employees to take part their organised activities. Advance is proud to sponsor various local sport teams such as Leicester Riders, Highfield Rangers Football Club, Birstall CC and many more.
