Meet Our Team l Cassandre Wadble
Cassandre is currently visiting the UK from France while she completes an internship with the Marketing team here at Advance Tapes! She’s enjoying her time here so much, we asked her to share some of her story.
How long have you worked for Advance?
For just over one month. I have almost finished my six-week internship, but I don’t want to leave!
How have your responsibilities or day-to-day work changed from when you first started?
At first I started with smaller and easier tasks, but I’ve taken on more responsibility and been able to work on much longer projects to help out the Marketing team.
If you could switch to any career you wanted, what would it be?
I would love a job that allows me to travel around different countries and visit new places. My mum is a Purchasing Manager and she does that a lot, so that might be a good job for me too.
Who’s the funniest person you work with?
I can’t choose between Alicia and David (the other two members of the Marketing team for most of the time I’ve been here). We have had a lot of fun.
If you won £10 million, what would you do with it?
Firstly I would share it with my family, and after that I would put a lot of it towards charities and good causes. If I had that much money I’d want to have a positive impact and make a difference.
What are you best known for at work?
Probably my “bloopers” – I tend to be clumsy and accidents always seem to happen around me. Mostly they’re harmless, but if one thing happens I know there are going to be more.
What’s one of your interests that we might not know about?
I am really interested in languages. In addition to French and English, I can also speak Chinese and Spanish, plus some Japanese, and I am learning Korean.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would choose the power to travel through time, because I’d love to go back and see different places throughout history.
What’s your idea of success in your job?
When someone asks you to do something and they’re confident that you know how to do it well. You don’t have to explain yourself, they can just trust you.
