Our polythene protection tape or painters tape (AT6102) is an environmentally friendly polythene film coated with a peel clean dispersion acrylic adhesive. The properties of the tape make it ideal for use where temporary protection is needed. Perfect for painters and decorators due to its low tack, it won’t leave any residue.
This protection tape offers high performance, durability and resistance against extreme temperatures (from -40°C to +60°C), which makes it perfect for indoor and outdoor
applications, plus it is easy to unwind even during cold weather. It is even frost resistant for use in winter.
AT6102 sticks brilliantly to many surfaces including metal, glass, polythene and PVCu and it will not stain or corrode the surface it is applied to.
Filmic tapes can be hard to tear by hand and edges are not always straight. AT6102 uses a unique StraightEdgeTM Technology which makes it easy to tear straight by hand and
does not require serrated edge.

Important Note:
Tape performance is impaired if used on anodised surfaces which are not completely sealed. As a result, we recommend that you test the aluminium or stainless steel surface for suitability. We would advise you to check each new batch/delivery of metal for suitability.
In many applications involving anodised aluminium or stainless steel an alternative product may be AT6103 Clear Polythene Tape or AT44 low tack protection tape. If in any doubt, please contact Advance Tapes
