AT0293 Premier Closure Plate Tape

Conforms to British Gas PRS10- issue 2

AT293 is a strong polythene extruded cloth tape coated with Unique Surefire® thermosetting solvent free rubber – resin adhesive specially developed for sealing gas fire closure plates.

The tape meets British Gas specification PRS10 Issue 2 for the installation of gas fires, convector heaters, fire/back boilers & decorative fuel effect gas appliances. AT293 has a high tack, unique adhesive that will stick to aluminium, plaster, brick and concrete but most importantly, create an air tight seal and highlight when the temperature becomes too high by thermosetting to leave an adhesive residue.

Easy to apply, this high heat resistant tape conforms perfectly to irregular or rigid surfaces. With the highest quality non-corrosive adhesive and an excellent water and abrasion resistance, AT293 will not rust, stain, or corrode surfaces during its use.

Its “writeable” surface allows easy identification of service engineer and date of service.
