AT87 Kaltverschweißendes Polyisobutyl-Isolierband

AT87 is a black, non-adhesive, polyisobutylene (PIB) based tape with strong elastic qualities backed by a thin film that can be stripped off cleanly and easily. A self amalgamating tape that acts as an excellent watertight seal. Ideal for marine use, protecting fittings against salt corrosion and rope chafing. Also suitable for insulating and waterproofing of electrical connections, sealing satellite dish cabling, temporary and emergency repair of plumbing joints and water pipes. AT87 is is ideally suited to adverse weather conditions and temperature extremes for very long periods. With excellent UV, water and ozone resistance, the tape will not rust, stain or corrode during application. Plus, it is resistant to a wide range of chemicals including, alkalis, hydraulic fluids and vegetable oils. AT87 offers a sustainable and reliable performance even in extreme temperature conditions (from -30°C to +100°C) and can be easily applied to smooth and difficult surfaces.
